S: Geometrical arrangement of our first functional garden modules. Late afternoon diffused light gives an air of tranquil contemplation. We are working with living elements, and now our kitchen is directly connected to our huerta. We eat mainly vegetables and whole foods. What we don’t eat goes to the compost bin, or if light and watery (i.e nitrogen-rich greens such as rucula stems) it goes straight to the soil to compost-in-place as a green mulch.
